We are here for you.

Our Traverse Bay Resiliency Center was created in response to the July 26, 2025 violent assaults at the Walmart in Traverse City. The TBRC serves community members impacted by traumatic events, including individuals who were injured, their family members and loved ones, first responders and medical personnel, anyone present during the incident, and community members who feel affected by these events.

The center includes a Survivor Support Specialist who acts as a guide and connector, helping individuals navigate available systems and resources. This process may include completing an initial assessment, gathering relevant information, and developing a personalized plan to connect each person with appropriate supports. The goal is to help individuals understand, access, and move through the resources available to them — at their own pace, and in the way that feels right for them.
